Aquadue Duplo two line water timer by Claber
Now you don't need an expensive, hard-to-maintain underground sprinkler system to keep your lawn green. With the Duplo, you can program up to 3 watering sessions per day.... for each of two hose lines. That means, for example, you can water your backyard (which perhaps gets a lot of sun) in the predawn, while your front lawn (in the shade) only gets a lighter watering late in the evening. All from a single bibb faucet. As advanced as the circuitry of this water timer is, you use only three buttons to set the watering schedules. So, in just a few minutes, you can set up your two independent programs to run over a 7-day cycle. A large LCD screen makes programming your water timer easy. The Duplo operates economically on one 9-Volt battery (not encluded) that can last an entire watering season. A digital battery status indicator lets you know when it's time to change batteries. All electrical parts are completely sealed and watertight to prevent damage. The housing is UV stabilized to help prevent cracking and discoloration, even when the summer sun beats down on it. A built-in, washable screen filter traps harmful contaminants that could clog or damage the valves used by watering timers offered by other manufacturers. So, with proper cleaning, you can use your Claber Duplo with any water source... even well water. The Aquadue Duplo water timer is backed by a one-year limited warranty from Claber, one of the world's leading manufacturers of lawn and garden watering equipment. And now, with the optional Water Sensor (see below), you can conserve water and protect your plants and lawn from damaging overwatering. This sensor turns your water flow off when it has been raining. It is connected to the common solenoid valve. When the internal flow reaches a level of 5 milimeters of rain per square meter, the system shuts off. Your programmed watering automatically resumes when the water in the sensor evaporates. This sensor should be installed in an area near the faucet that is directly exposed to rain, using the stainless steel bracket that is included with the sensor.
If you don't need the two-line capability of the Aquadue Duplo, but you do want a high-quality, easy-to-program digital water hose timer at a lower price, be sure to see the Aquauno Video 2 digital hose timer, also from Claber or the Logica "analog" watering timer. (Looking for an automatic watering system for indoor house plants? Check the Oasis automatic plant watering kit, also from Claber.)
